Frequently asked questions
Who makes Pulparindo?
Pulparindo is made by Dulces de la Rosa of Guadalajara, Mexico — the company behind the Mazapan peanut candy. This catalog presents the full range in one place; sales are handled by our retail partner.
How hot is Pulparindo?
The Original is mildly spicy — more tangy-salty than hot. Extra Hot and Extra Picante versions carry a noticeable chili kick that builds as you chew. Mango, watermelon and chamoy flavors sit between the two. If you are heat-shy, start with the Original or the Pulparindots pellets.
What is the difference between Pulparindo and Pulparindots?
Pulparindo is the flat chewy bar; Pulparindots are small coated pellets of the same tamarind base, sold in pocket-size packets — easier to share and less messy.
Where do orders ship from and who handles returns?
All purchases are completed at our retail partner: the retailer handles shipping, delivery times, payment and returns under the policies shown on the listing. The catalog is not part of that transaction.
Why does a price here differ from the listing?
We refresh prices periodically, but retail prices can change at any moment. The listing price at checkout is the one that applies.
Are the ratings real?
Yes — every star score and rating count on this site is the aggregate figure displayed on the corresponding retail listing at the time of our last refresh. We never write or commission reviews.
